DESCRIPTION
Beautiful Mystery is a band that blends acoustic, rock, classical, and techno elements together with a modern rock edge to form a style of music all their own. But more important than that, the band is dedicated to reaching hearts through the words..to see lives changed and souls encouraged.

BIOGRAPHY
When it comes to true music, it is not whether or not the melody reaches the ear, but whether or not the melody carries the message to the heart. This is the central theme of Beautiful Mystery, a band that has gone through many twists and turns throughout it's existence. During their first season as a band, the then duo appeared in concert at Resistance 2005 in Oregon with Everyday Sunday and Benjiman. They also were asked to appear on TBN and do two music videos. THe future was looking bright for the aspiring band as they released their independant EP album, From Your Father.
However, subsequent events threw the band apart and left vocalist/guitarists/keyboardist Shawn Pavlas as the one man member of Beautiful Mystery. Soon after though, He was accompanied by drummer HJ, and the band is currently looking for more musicians to join the crew before next year.
What stands out proably more than anything else when it comes to the music of Beautiful Mystery is that it isn't your ordinary rock music. The band isn't content to serve up what everyone else is serving up, and therefore the sounds you will hear from them are both innovative and eclectic. They combine forms of music you never expected to be in the same CD, let alone the same song. "Fall Apart" is a beatles-type song that blends the repetetive piano beat and organic vibe with a folksy twist and even some "rap-like" moments. "You Are Love" is a song starting out as an acoustic and simple piece, but it breaks into an entrancing anthem with full instrumentation that give it a brit-rock feel. "The Light Is Chasing" blends techno elements with a guitar-driven radio-friendly vibe with complex vocals and a message that is sure to get you thinking. And Beautiful Mystery sometimes finds its peace with a simple piano/vocal song such as "I Couldn't sleep", a very unique musical experience featuring no specific verses or chorus, but a four section, almost classical arrangement.
And yes, they even get emo, as Shawn sings the moving and sometimes loud "You Don't Have To".
But for Beautiful Mystery, the focus is not just to create music that is different and pushes the lines of common genre. This band wants to really reach the hearts of the listeners.
