BIOGRAPHY
Isabelle was born on 4th May, 1988 and has started taking singing lessons on February 1997, at the young age of 8. Two months after, she did her first debut in a festival and came 2nd with the song “La Partita Del Pallone”. She never looked back from then onwards. Isabelle started to be very busy with being invited in many activities and participating in local festivals too.

Isabelle usually had positive results in the festivals she participated in. She had won certain titles as well such as “Golden Voice”, “Best Interpretation”, “Mike Spiteri’s Challenge Cup”, “Super Cups”, “Overall Cups” and more.

Isabelle also had the opportunity of participating in 2 musicals after going for an audition. The first one was called “Il-Hanut tal-Gugarelli” (“The toy shop”). It was filmed in 1999 and the filming was based in a 4-storey cupboard built for the musical’s purpose. Isabelle had the role of a typical Maltese doll. It was directed by Zepp Camilleri. It was then shown on a Maltese Television Station (Super One) as weekly episodes during a musical programme called “Noli bin-Noti” (“Hide and seek with Notes”) in which Isabelle also took part in, in the choir and also sang solo 3 times during the serial of programmes and took part in some discussions that arise in the programme.

The other musical that she had the opportunity of participating in was “Rita ta’ Cascia” or also known as “Santa Rita” (“Saint Rita”). It was directed by Daniel Borg Carbott in the year 2000. This musical was held in the Catholic Institute in Floriana (Malta). Isabelle had the opportunity to be part of this cast along with many famous artists in Malta and she had the part of an angel.

Isabelle had always dreamt that one day she’ll sing accompanied with a full orchestra. Her dream came true in 2000. She had passed for the finals of a popular festival held in Malta, “Fl-Ghaqda l-Melodija” organized by G.W.U.. She performed the song “M’Ghandix Bzonn Pupi” (“There’s no need for dolls”), lyrics by Raymond Mahoney and music by Mro. Sammy Galea. She was one of the youngest in her section but this was insignificant for her performance, because she gave an outstanding performance and placed 2nd.

In 2003, Isabelle passed through an elimination and participated in a local festival organized by Drydocks. She won the elderly section (at the young age of 15) with the song “Droga Qerrieda” (“Killing Drugs”).

In 2002, she started performing internationally as well. Isabelle had an audition and she was given the responsibility to represent Malta in Romania. This gave her a big boost in her career. She sent an original song called “Our World” which made it to the finals after going through another audition abroad. She participated in the International festival “The Golden Star”. This festival was under the hospice of F.I.D.O.F.. She performed the song above mentioned, written by Keith Zammit, arrangement by Charles Flores and music by Anthony Buttigieg. She won “Special Prize of the Children’s Jury”.

In the following year, 2003, she was invited to take part in the International Nile Song Festival, held in Egypt, Cairo. She sang the song “Walk With Me to Heaven”, lyrics and music by Carm Fenech. There were over 40 participants from various countries such as Egypt, Malta, Romania, Finland, Ireland, Kazakhstan, Chile, UK, and China. Isabelle won the 1st F.I.D.O.F. Award. She cherish this award close to her heart which is very important in her career.

In 2004, Isabelle was chosen once again to represent Malta in “The Golden Star” in Romania, Bucharest with the song “Don’t Break My Heart” composed by Augusto Cardinali and written by Keith Zammit. She was praised for her performance and was invited to perform in other countries.

Isabelle had 2 submissions for a local festival called “Fl-Ghaqda l-Melodija” (“Unity with Melody”) and these 2 submissions passed for the finals. She chose the song with the highest points. This song was a duet with Clifford Galea. The song was written by Keith Zammit and composed by Augusto Cardinali. They made it to the 3rd place with the song “Ninhabbu t-Tnejn” (“Loving Each Other”) and won the award for the most voted song from the audience.

On the 14th September, 2005, Isabelle launched her first CD Single “Be My Butterfly” produced by Freetime Productions.

Isabelle was chosen to perform as a solo singer in a Maltese musical comedy "Bajdamewt u s-7 Ghoggieba" ("Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs") taking place in the Theatre of the G.W.U. Valletta, on the 22nd and 23rd October, 2005.

Isabelle has made it to the Semi-Finals of Opportunity 2, aired during the program "Show Time ma' Aceline" on TVM. 36 songs were to be chosen and, in fact, Isabelle had 2 songs in the Semi-Finals of this Competition, Opportunity 2 Challenge. The songs were "I Miss You" written by Keith Zammit and composed by Augusto Cardinali.
The other song which Isabelle performed was "Memories" written by Keith Zammit and composed by Elton Zarb.

213 entries were submitted for Malta Song for Europe 2006. Isabelle was one of the 50 Semi-Finalists with a song by Philip Vella and Gerard James Borg.

For a whole 7 months, Isabelle, along with another 3 presenters presenting a children’s programme called “Merlini” on a local Television Station. This gave her great satisfaction and a different experience.

For 2 consecutive years, she was also the presenter of a musical Radio programme. She had always looked forward to do this kind of profession because as one can see, music takes a great part of her life. It was her satisfaction when she had contacts with the listeners of this programme while being on-air. Unfortunately, she had to quit this programme due to her studies. Besides being the presenter of Radio and Television programmes, Isabelle was often asked to be the compere of street concerts and other entertaining events.

Besides all this, Isabelle studies the piano under the Trinity College of London of which she is in Grade 8 in Theory, and Grade 6 in Practice. Another musical instrument which she likes is the guitar. When she has some free time, she plays the guitar for leisure and relaxation. In the past, when she was still about 10 years old, she used to sing and accompany herself with the guitar during mass functions.

At the moment Isabelle is studying Economics and Accounting at Advanced Levels at G.F. Junior College, Msida, Malta.

Isabelle also coaches singers at beginning and intermediate level. She likes to share and pass her talent with all her students in which she is very satisfied in what they are obtaining.

Isabelle’s motto is “no dream is impossible!” and if you work hard for what you are aiming for, you will achieve it!
